Inserting the SoftSpikes
Insert the SoftSpikes into the designated elongated slots on the top of the TameGuard halves. If you ordered a Starter Set, we usually prepare a set in advance so you can see how the SoftSpikes are inserted. You can easily trim any SoftSpike rows that protrude beyond the edges of the TameGuard halves with scissors. Nothing should protrude on the sides, otherwise the TameGuard halves cannot be assembled.
Putting on the ring
Put on the base ring (pull your testicles and penis through the ring). The connector must be facing upwards. It's up to you to find the right size. If the ring causes you pain for an extended period, you probably need a different size. However, it's normal to experience some unusual, slight pressure during the first two days – you just need to get used to it. Give it time and try it out.
Assemble the TameGuard
Connect the two TameGuard halves together before inserting your penis. Please do not try to join the halves directly on the penis – this can pinch the skin.
Putting on the cage
Once your TameGuard is assembled, you can carefully insert your flaccid penis. Hold the TameGuard firmly together so it doesn't slip. The SoftSpikes make this a little more difficult and take longer. Make sure the glans is fully inserted. If a SoftSpike gets caught or presses too hard into the skin and causes pain, you can simply open the TameGuard and start again. You can also change the spike shape to achieve your desired intensity.

Cleaning the TameGuard
The best way to clean your TameGuard is every 2-3 days with water, soap, and a toothbrush. Remove the SoftSpikes beforehand to ensure you can thoroughly clean the elongated sockets and all the gaps.
Cleaning and care of the SoftSpikes
It's normal for SoftSpikes to become slightly deformed over time. If you want them to straighten up again, place them in a small pot and pour boiling water over them (for about 30 seconds). This will clean the SoftSpikes and restore their shape.
